Submitting measures

Here you can submit a measure that has been implemented at your institution for inclusion in the toolbox.

How do I submit a measure?

Measures are submitted using the PDF form below and must meet the following criteria:

  • All information given as part of the description must be available online and therefore verifiable.
  • The e-mail address provided must be a neutral one (not a personal address) to ensure its continued validity. This address will be published in the detailed description of the model.
  • All fields marked with * are mandatory fields and must be completed.

What happens after a measure is submitted?

First the proposal is checked by GESIS. If GESIS has any questions or the information provided is incomplete, you will be asked to revise it. After the proposal has been checked, GESIS prepares an evaluation which is used by the DFG to decide whether to add the measure to the database. You will receive prompt notification from the DFG as to whether your measure was chosen for inclusion or not. Because the text of accepted measures has to be translated, from now on new measures will be added to the Toolbox once a quarter. You will always be notified when your measure becomes available online.

GESIS – in coordination with the DFG – reserves the right to remove models again or change their status if necessary. Again, you will always be notified if this happens.
